About the Position

On the sales side you’ll be:

  • Learning and utilizing sales strategies in a highly-technical industry
  • Building and managing client relationships
  • Using a consultative sales approach with low pressure techniques
  • Creating sales proposals for compliance, professional and managed services
  • Running sales and client calls
  • Staying in active contact with your client throughout their projects
  • Keeping an eye on the competition

On the marketing side you'll be:

  • Assisting with our ongoing SWOT and competitor analysis
  • Contributing to our social media content
  • Blogging industry highlights and original content
  • Helping to identify potential conferences in which to participate

You'll need to:

  • Be chatty and have had experience being on the phone with customers and prospects
  • Be able to multi-task and wear multiple hats
  • Enjoy working with prospects to determine the best services for their needs
  • Be able to take responsibility and work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Be proficient in MS Office

Ideally, you'll also:

  • Have a major or minor emphasis in business or communications (extra credit will be given for marketing/advertising majors)
  • Have previously worked in a sales or customer service role
  • Have two years of experience in an inside sales role within a technical field
